History of Henry Ford and the Ford automobile company

Ford Motor Company (FMC), automotive company that fourth-wheeled vehicles penetrated the entire world, celebrated its 100th anniversary year, to be exact tanal June 13, 2003 last. Who would have guessed, that the founders - Henry Ford - only primary school education?

Henry Ford was born on July 30, 1863 came from families of poor farmers. The absence of fees makes it unable to continue their education to junior high bench. After graduating from elementary school he helped his father on the family farm.

One day in mid 1875, Henry brought his father's carriage rides in the direction of Detroit. At that time Henry, who just turned 12 years have seen something strange on the road. There are trains that can run itself without a horse. "Train the street itself came to an abrupt stop, lets us in on horse-drawn carriages to pass," Henry said in his biography. The father who saw his son was amazed immediately stopped his buggy. They then go down and meet with people who were on the train which can run himself.

It turned out that it eliminates the interest and attention of Henry to the field of agriculture. His mind was filled with trains that can run itself. Henry, who previously wrestled with soil and seeds of plants have shifted their attention to metal objects. After helping his father on the farm Henry spends all his spare time in a small workshop in a warehouse owned by the family farm.

Interest in the machinery to make Henry decided to intern in Drydock Engine Works. That decision could make his father angry. Fortunately his father's anger did not last long, after hearing the news of how the rapid progress of Henry in the Drydock Engine Works. In the history of the Drydock Engine Works, their apprenticeship training takes 3 years to become an engineer. But Henry Ford only takes less than a year training to become an expert engine really reliable.

Completed internship Henry ideals to create a machine that can move the vehicle to transport goods and people getting stuck out. But these ideals were greeted coldly by his colleagues. They assess, Henry ideals is an impossible thing. But Henry did not despair.

Moments after finishing an internship at the Drydock Engine Works, Henry medapat bid for work as an engineer at Detroit Edison Company. In this new place Henry then realized the limitations of his knowledge that only limited internships in the Drydock Engine Works. Her goal would be realized if he did not deepen their knowledge. Therefore, diligent Henry adds his knowledge of machinery of scientific magazines published at that time. Not only that, after working in Detroit Edison Company, Henry is also conducting research and experiments in a small shed behind the house rented.

In one edition of science magazine that had Henry read about the creation of a new machine called the automobile, the gas engine is smooth, which in the history of automotive classified as a precursor to the current car. The magazine also wrote that some time later as a means of lighting the gas in that period will not be used again as the driving engine, but was replaced by the evaporation of fuel oil.

Discussion in the magazine got opposition from the experts at that time machine. According to them, it is impossible to gas oil was replaced by a steam engine to drive the car. But Henry is not impossible for petroleum vapors can be used to drive the engine. With the principle of his life that did not recognize Henry's desperate attempt to keep doing experiments on his family's agricultural warehouse.

"Over the years my experiment failed. But because the principle of my life really do not know despair, failure is not something that I feared. More precisely the failure to spur my spirit diligently and thoroughly, "he said.

In the year 1892, or exactly 17 years after first watching a train without horse-drawn street, Henry Ford appalling Detroiters. He came out of his shop iron horse steam engine powered by petroleum. Something which, according to experts impossible machines, successfully realized Henry Ford became a reality. He successfully made the first car in the human civilization, the steam engine driven oil.

In the eyes of the owner of the Detroit Edison Company creation is a very special car, so that Henry Ford was immediately offered a high position, and earnings multiples. But even Henry resigned from the Detroit Edison Company, by reason if the office received the entire time and energies will be taken up at the company, so do not have spare time again for the continued research and experimentation in his private workshop.

Regardless of the Detroit Edison Company, Henry Ford succeeded in persuading some entrepreneurs to set up Detroit Auto Company car. There he was appointed as chief engineer. It turns out many inconsistencies between Henry and the owners of capital. Henry asked for some funds for research and development but this proposal was not approved. Capital owners want the first car Henry creations are produced. The result, sales of Automotive Detroit within one year of no more than five and six units of the car.

After three years, exactly mid-March 1902, another Henry Ford resigned from the Detroit Automobile. With minimal capital, from the remnants of his income in Detroit Automobile, Henry Ford founded the Ford Motor Company reckless.

To introduce the products to the general public two units of Henry Ford designed the car for the race that is named "999" and "Arrow". In the 1903 racing season, the two cars involved Henry Ford's creation and immediately went out as the winner by leaving his opponents more than half a mile behind. With a glorious victory, the publicity of products Ford Motor explode upwards. Ford Motor Company began creeping up. In 1905, Ford's production units sold in 1700.

Henry continues to improve the quality of production, among others, by creating the Model T Ford which is very famous. Henry is also trying to improve factory performance. He was the first person to create a car assembly system sequentially and completely mechanical.
